The hotel takes its name from the novel “Paul et Virginie” by Bernardin de St. Pierre and is located only a short distance away from the place where the unlucky ship, the original St. Geran was wrecked so many years ago.
The junior suites are influenced by Dutch and French colonial style combined with eclectic European comfort. They all offer a magnificent view over the lagoon, feature King- or Queen sized beds, spacious dressing rooms and provide an ample and intimate setting. A personalized butler is on duty 24h a day.
The Ocean suites have separate roomy lounges private dining rooms and two secluded terraces, leading off the master bedroom. A mini patio with open air shower backs on to the beach. Inside, draped curtains frame grand bay windows, while upholstered plush sofas offer comfortable seating.
The villa is a veritable island home with beautiful views of the Indian Ocean, a private pool and a spacious terrace. The master bedroom features a four poster bed and the second bedroom two Queen –size beds. Both bathrooms have shower and Jacuzzi.
A kitchen equipped with premium quality china, crystal and silverware and a spacious living/dining room are at the guest’s disposal, as well as a personal butler.
At Le Saint Geran, dining is an experience of the best of the world. The main restaurant,
“La Terrasse” offers a variety of local and international specialties. Breakfast buffet, light lunches and table d’ hote or theme dinners with evening entertainment are offered daily. An extensive wine list and cigar selection is available as well.
“The Paul and Virginie” is a delightful waterside restaurant, offering relaxed lunches or romantic dinners and specialized in seafood and local specialties (Booking required). “Spoon des Iles” a fashionable and refined gourmet restaurant, featuring some of the most innovative cuisine in the Southern Hemisphere prepared by renowned french Chef Alain Ducasse (Booking required).

Bars: Pool bar, offering breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea during the day, aperitif before dinner as well as drinks and cocktails during after dinner entertainment.
“Spoon des Iles” bar: Open bar area with a fine selection of wines and champagnes. “Paul and Virginie” bar: Elegant and quiet bar overlooking the lagoon (Very romantic setting). The Golf Club bar is open daily from 8 to 6, offering a variety of salads and light snacks as well as drinks in a lush, green environment.
The Givenchy spa is the privileged place for the relaxation of body mind and soul. Featuring its own pool for hydrotherapy, the spa offers a holistic approach, complete with personalized sports programme, nutritional analysis, beauty and hair care tips. Please note that the spa is not for children under the age of 16.
The children enjoy age appropriate activities, sports-clinics, events and environmental excursions as well as dinnertime activities and special dinners in the “Kids Only” (from 2-11) and the “Club One” (from 12 – 17 years).
