Le Prince Maurice is located on the north east coast of the island, 15 minutes from the airport by helicopter and 35 km from the capital Port Louis. The hotel has been built on a wind sheltered spot and ensures maximum privacy to its guests.

The set-up of the hotel, 88 suites spread over 60 hectares and 4 beaches, provides for a uniquely personal standard of service and care. The hotel is situated on a sheltered coral sand beach with a private lagoon. The suites are in two categories Senior and Junior. They are scattered along the pristine beach, in landscaped gardens, on waterways, and even suspended on site over the lagoon.
Each cluster of suites nestles amidst aromatic gardens providing a heaven of seduction and tranquillity. Designed with total respect for the islands heritage, the suites consist mainly of natural materials, especially wood, granite and thatch.

All suites are spacious, air conditioned and fully equipped with the amenities expected by world-class 5 star standards. They feature massive wooden furnishings decorated in colours reflecting the “Spice Route” theme of the hotel.
The Senior Suites each feature a conventional interior bathroom as well as a stylish exterior walled bathing area, a waterfall shower cascading into a Jacuzzi bath, surrounded by pebble gardens and flowers. Each Senior Suite has a large terrace and some added advantage of a private pool. Three of them are built on stilts, overlooking the calm lagoon.
The entrance to the Hotel has a towering portal followed by bridges spanning palm-studded waters. A pool stretches towards the lagoon, the waters seeming to blend into each other. A variety of shops and a tranquil library lead to an elegant lounge bar. One of the restaurants is suspended over the pool, facing the lagoon, another one is floating on quiet waters, providing serene views of the lagoon and the mountains against the setting sun, as guests enjoy freshly prepared seafood and grilled specialties.
If all of this becomes too much then relaxing massages, an outdoor atrium pool and an atmosphere of privacy and luxury can be found at the fitness centre.
