The terraced restaurant offers a beautiful view over the beach and the Indian Ocean. All buildings are thatch roofed. Combined with the warm colours of the natural lava stone used for the main buildings and the vibrant green of the lush garden surrounding them, Les Cocotiers is a perfect little paradise of peace and serenity.
Guests may relax at the natural beach or in the shade of parasols by the pool. The small restaurant offers not only a nice beach view but also delicious breakfast buffets, a la carte lunch and afternoon tea with pancakes as well as dinner buffets or island style menus “table d’hote” with a choice of local dishes in the evenings.
The pool bar provides salads and sandwiches by the pool at lunchtime and welcomes guests for happy hour from 17h00 to 19h00 daily.
A Sega live show and a barbecue take place every Saturday. Once a week, a live band and a Mauritian buffet contribute further to the entertainment provided by the hotel.
Apart from relaxing at the pool, guests may spend their leisure time snorkelling or swimming in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Snorkel equipment and beach towels are available at the reception.
The sister hotel La Plantation, situated 10 km to the Northwest, offers a range of free and paying water sports as well as a Spa centre for the use of guests from Les Cocotiers. Free transport is provided to La Plantation as well as to the capital city of Port Louis several times a week.
